Lennon's Bloodied Glasses Tweeted!

Here's the weather today....as you can see it isn't too bad. Lately all it's been doing is raining, so this is fine by me.

And so on and so forth :)
The school kids are on their spring break, so maybe they can get outside for a change....or not.

On a serious note.

Yoko Ono tweets photo of John Lennon's bloodied glasses in anti-gun call

Yoko Ono marked what would have been her 44th wedding anniversary by launching an anti-gun protest and sharing a photograph of the bloodied glasses her late husband, John Lennon, was wearing when he was shot.
The Beatles star was murdered in New York City in 1980, and Ono remembered the tragedy on Tuesday, exactly 44 years after she married the musician on March 20, 1969. Ono posted a poignant photograph of Lennon's blood-spattered spectacles with the caption, "Over 1,057,000 people have been killed by guns in the USA since John Lennon was shot and killed on Dec 8, 1980."

She adds, "31,537 people are killed by guns in the USA every year ... We are turning this beautiful country into [a] war zone. Together, let's bring back America, the green land of peace ... The death of a loved one is a hollowing experience. After 33 years our son Sean and I still miss him."

I thought that she was going senile until I read the article, but I guess she hasn't lost it yet.

So that we don't end the post too seriously; here's a cute little item, featuring :

"Corgi Destruct o"
