I've been working on an interesting post about two best friends: Pocho and Chita.....
This fine fellow - Pocho (r)
was saved by the heroic man - Chito (L); after being shot (in the eye) by a local evil farmer.
The crocodile's weight had dropped to 150 lbs and he was soon to perish. With the help of friends, Chito, pulled Pocho into his boat and brought him home to begin nursing him back to health.

With a diet of chicken, fish and medicine, the magnificent animal was brought back from the brink (it took 6 months). He ended up weighing in at close to a 1000 lbs.!!!
When Chito brought Pocho back to the river and returned him to the wild, the crocodile followed him home. :)
It ended up being a friendship which would last 20 years! (see below for the sad ending)

The two would entertain mobs of bloodthirsty tourists with incredible talent shows!

Sadly, the dynamic duo are now a singular single. ( Pocho died Oct, 2011 of natural causes, at the age of 50 y.o.)
So, if anyone knows of, or perhaps has a spare crocodile....( I'm sure alligators would be fine ) send them to: Chita the Epic Tamer of Crocodylia
