Today at Work (or) Inside a Hoarder's Home

Today at work, it was just like being at a crime scene.

In fact, the scene was so incredible, that I wrote a friend an email describing the situation, and included photos which I had taken at the time.

The Front Door

Then as I was writing to her, the thought came to me, that today's work situation, might actually be worthy of a blog posting.

A very sad story. 

An old man, living alone. His mind snapped at some point and the result was this:

Our job was to clear a pathway through the mess, to The Desk

and to the Bedrooms up the stairs:

You see, the poor old man had died, and it was necessary to get into the desk and bedrooms for legal papers and other valuables.....
......and of course there were rats.

Pretty sad huh?
