Dancing on the Moon

Do you feel the chill in the air?
The whisper of the wind through the leaves....
Autumn is here.
..........

A classic cartoon by the master animator Max Fleischer ( Jul 19, 1883 - Sept 11, 1972 )

Dancing on the Moon

Is a film about a bunch of newlywed animals going to the moon on their honeymoon....the moon looks big enough to be a harvest moon, and the sky looks like an Autumn sky...clear and crisp with a few clouds rolling by.
...... so I will call it as an appropriate seasonal film.

Dancing on the Moon ( 1935 )

.......was part of the Cartoon Classics Series made by Fleischer Studios from 1934 to 1941. In all, there were 36 films. Many of these films were to use Max Fleicher's  ***Stereoptical Process***    which gave the cartoons a 3 dimensional quality.

***
This was a process in which the animation cells were photographed against 3 dimensional backgrounds instead of regular paintings.Max Fleischer's Stereoptical Process, was in use 3 years before Disney's own design of: The Multiplane Camera was created. ***

P.S.
The song Dancing on the Moon was written by Charles Tobias and Murray Mencher
