The latest in dumb crook news:
An inept smuggler was caught by airport security in New Zealand, trying to sneak out with some fish, native to the region.... in his pockets! 

Yup 

Officials knew that something was not quite right, when they noticed that his pants were wet and his pockets were bulging.
The man - obviously of great intellect, pleaded that he had filled his pockets with water, just in case he got thirsty...            

.....of course, this explanation fooled the security personnel for about one millionth of a microsecond...

Help! Save us!

He now faces a hefty fine, or even possibly 5 years in jail.
