Lil' Drac the Bat Gets Better

Well it's been a little bit since my last posting and I send my apologies to all of my readers!
...hopefully I can make it up to you all by sharing a few cute items!  :)

This is an actual taxi used by the sheep herders of Lombardy Italy to transport the very young lambs of the herd, from the rugged Italian foothills, to the plains of Lombardy.

Donkeys are very protective of "their herd", chasing away both large and small predators. So what better system could there be? :)

Lil' Drac Gets Better

Here is a very sweet video of an abandoned fruit bat, soon to be know as Lil' Drac 
and the rescue efforts made by Bat World Sanctuary members to keep him alive.

And part two of Lil' Drac's rehabilitation process and his final reintroduction to the general bat population.

So cute!

Bats are such a misunderstood animal - like wolves and spiders ( eeeek ) yet they are so important! It is nice to see the good work which the people over at Bat World Sanctuary do for these little guys!
