Cook Feeds the Less Fortunate

Narayanan Krishnan was once a rising star in the culinary field.

He was soon to leave his home in Mandurai, India for a top paying job at a 5 star hotel in Switzerland; when one day, shortly before leaving, he witnessed an old man eating his own bodily waste for food. The image bothered Narayanan so much, that within a week, he had quit his job, and was not only feeding the old man, but other unfortunates, as well.

That was back in 2002.

Now, Narayanan and his coworkers, go out everyday and distribute upwards of 400 meals 3 times a day!   Krishnan also brings with him: scissors, comb and razor; and provides haircuts and shaves for his clientele.

Thereby, nurturing their dignity as well.

His current plans for expanding the aid to the poor:
