Life on the farm in rural Connecticut, America.
We find two identical twin boys: Niles and Holland Perry (11 y.o.)
in this idyllic setting.
Nothing out of the ordinary, except that ever since the boys' father has died, their mother has been a shut-in and the rest of the family is busy working/running the farm.
The boys are left alone to their own private designs.

Niles is a pleasant boy who loves to explore his surroundings and spend time with Russian emigrant - Grandma Ada / Бабушка Ада.
......as do the two boys.....
Holland, on the other hand, keeps to himself..... playing his harmonica and inventing mischief and misfortune for everybody else.

Rotten Tomatoes has given this movie a whopping 86% for favorable reviews.
More of a good psychological thriller,than a horror story, the movie will hold your attention throughout, as it builds towards it's eventful conclusion.
