Drunken Back Seat (of a police car) Rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody"

They don't look overly impressed, but perhaps it is a moment of awe

The rock group Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" ( 1975 ) is considered by many, to be one of the greatest rock songs of all time. Incorporating elements of Baroque Opera, Ballad and Hard Rock; the studio version required over 180 overdubs just to record the vocals! It was to become one of the most elaborately produced single EVER.
Here is one of the original versions by Queen.

............

And here it is again, sung by a drunken Robert Wilkinson on his way to the police station to be charged for drunken driving and refusal of a breathalyzer test.

......

I won't ask you to vote on which is the best version..... :) .... however, in the Wilkinson version, the second-to-last line of: "Nothing really matters to me" was changed to: "Nothing really matters, even the RCMP"
teh heh

Robert acquired the police video as evidence for his trial - in which he represented himself. He would go on, to post the footage online ( due to the urging s of friends ), and it would receive over 10 000 0000 views!!!

Wilkinson was eventually convicted of impaired driving - fined $1400 and prohibited from driving for 1 year.

He did apologize to the band Queen on his Facebook page and because he did not want to send the wrong kind of message to young people, he also also posted another video of himself singing: "Handle With Care" (  by The Traveling Mulberries ...Wilburys ) while he wore a T-shirt which was printed with the slogan: "I don't get drunk. I get awesome"

Good job Robert!!!

Now, Wilkinson is running for the office of mayor for the town of Edson, Alberta.

I wish him well!
